EME2014 - location?
30/04/12 09:23 Filed in: Programme
It has been traditional at each biennial EME conference to decide the location of the following conference and we propose to continue this process at EME2012. As you will be aware we have had a tremendous response to the call for papers and as a result there is pressure on the programme schedule. In order to conduct the discussion on this topic efficiently we propose the following.
Any group wishing to be considered as the hosts for the 2014 EME conference will be given space on the EME2012 website to present their ideas. These can then be viewed before the conference date by delegates and by the eme community at large and should enable a consensus decision to be arrived at with a shorter discussion in the programme slot that we will provide for this purpose. Proposers must of course be represented at the conference.
The process for doing this will be for a group to submit material to Martin, G8BHC in any of the following formats:–
Text: txt, rtf, rtfd, doc, docx, odt, and Images: tiff, png, jpg.
These will be put on a special page, 2014 EME Conference, on the eme2012 website. You can then make an announcement on the reflectors, etc., with the weblink.
This announcement will also be made on Twitter @moonbounce2012.
We await your proposals.
