EME2012 Dinners
EME conference dinners are always a great time to meet old and new faces and to discuss the challenges of our great hobby. This year there were two dinners. The Friday dinner featured separate delegates’ and partners’ prize draws, and Howard Long G6LVB talked to us about the journey of the Fun Cube Dongle from concept to full production via the kitchen table.
The main conference dinner was on Saturday. We were proud to have pioneering radio astronomer and Nobel Prize winner Professor Antony Hewish FRS for our end-of-conference dinner speaker.
Both dinners were served in the dining hall at Churchill College, Cambridge.
